Two goals apiece from John Westcott and Clinton More gave Langney Sports a 4-1 win against Baldock Town at Priory Lane in the Dr Martens eastern division last night.
The first 15 minutes was all Baldock and Langney keeper Dean Lightwood was called upon three times to deny the visitors.
But Langney took the lead on 17 minutes with their first shot on goal. Grant Harrison delivered a cross to the far post where Westcott headed home.
On 23 minutes it was 2-0 when Paul Stevens sent in a cross and More rose highest to loop a header over keeper Adam Wheeler.
On the half-hour Langney completed a great 13 minutes when Westcott crossed for More to head home his second. Baldock hit back on 69 minutes when they got a penalty after Nathan Godden fouled Luke Gregson.
Steve Cook scored from the spot.
Westcott got Langney's fourth after he headed in Daren Pearce's cross.
