I'm glad I don't live in Rottingdean if the portrayal of life in the high street is as rough as J Freeman describes (Opinion, April 23).

Apparently, there have been fights between drivers there and when our football stadium is built at Falmer, this will be an every-day occurrence.

Thankfully, Albion supporters will not be witnessing these, because matches are usually only every other Saturday afternoon and the occasional Tuesday evening during the football season.

Perhaps J Freeman presumes anyone who uses the new stadium facilities will be going to Rottingdean for a punch-up?

Fans from Eastbourne and onwards won't be travelling anywhere near that area on match days.

They will have more sense and use the A27 to the park-and-ride at Lewes or hop on a train.

As for the place coming to a standstill should a wedding take place, no one gets married on a Saturday when the Albion are at home anyway.
