I amdisgusted at the way nothing is being done to evict the travellers from Highfields above Coldean.

During the day, they race vans, cars and motorbikes up and down the field. It goes on all weekend.

The children came walking down the fields to look for trouble with the locals. They have taken over the swing park in Worseley Road.

One boy asked my son if he knew where he could get a scooter from. My son didn't reply. I cannot repeat what the other boy said to my son - and he was only about 10.

How much more of this do we have to put up with? If it was Moulsecoomb or Whitehawk, I'm sure something would have been sorted by now.

Police and councillors, get your act together for the sake of our community.
