I would like to point out to the police and traffic wardens that disabled people are allowed along Western Road by authority of Brighton and Hove City Council, provided the disabled person has a blue Western Road permit, which must be displayed beside the blue/orange badge and used by the named holder on entry to Western Road.

This allows them to stop safely in Western Road to carry out their business there.

I would strongly like Mr French, of Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company, to make his drivers fully aware of this because most just get cross and say we should not be in Western Road.

This is also the view of many taxi drivers.
