I recently ran the London Marathon on behalf of the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust.
I was very pleased to finish the run in four hours and 50 minutes, which for a novice wasn't bad.
I would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who sponsored me. I raised over £2,00 for the trust.
And a gentle reminder to the few stragglers yet to pay up: Please do so as soon as possible.
I would also like to mention Mark Shippam, who ran a really good race at three hours 28 minutes, and Bob Prior, my running partner and seasoned runner, who helped me achieve my goal of running the marathon. Thanks a million.
