The bridge which carries the A27 over the River Adur in Sussex needs repairing once again to ensure it is strong enough.
But the language used by the Highways Agency could also do with boosting. On a big blue sign, it missed the middle G in the word strengthening.
It says altering the sign should be simple. Motorists facing 40 summer nights of delays will wish the repairs were as easy.
