Whitehawk residents are being urged to get down to the pub to learn computer skills.
More than £1 million has been invested in setting up a computer training centre and internet cafe at the Whitehawk Inn, in Whitehawk Road, Brighton.
The centre will officially open next Wednesday.
Project director Glenn Jackman said: "We will be offering everyone in the area the chance to start learning about information technology in an informal and friendly setting.
"Computer skills are becoming central to everyday life but some people have not had the time, money or opportunity to find out about the benefits.
"We have set up this centre with more than 20 computers and helpful staff to try to make sure no one in Whitehawk is marginalised by a lack of access to new technology."
The opening ceremony is at 10am on May 23 and the centre will be open for tours and light refreshments until 10pm.
All residents are welcome to visit to find out about the training available. For more information call 01273 682222 or drop into reception.
