J B from Brighton (Opinion, May 11) said he could not understand all the fuss about the Albion's promotion.
I have supported the Albion for more than 30 years (I only missed two home games in that time, the last being in 1981) and my father has done so for nearly 70 years.
We where there at the last game at the Goldstone and went to every match at Gillingham, including mid-week, and the famous match at Hereford.
I find it difficult to believe someone could write such an undermining letter about the Albion, given that they have been through a very difficult time over the past few years.
I think every Albion fan should be entitled to this moment of glory, especially as this is the first championship we have won since 1964-65.
Micky Adams and the boys should be very proud of this marvellous achievement and the immense pleasure they have given us this season.
I would also like to congratulate The Argus on what has been fabulous coverage of the Albion this season.
