This was a brave attempt to portray the problems some women have with their sexuality.
Writer Claire Dowie put together three scenarios, women being straight, women being gay and women being men.
It is a difficult subject to write about but the script was easy to follow, even though the production was slightly voyeuristic. There was plenty of on-stage kissing between the three cast members and the occasional swear word as well as a lot of on-stage movement.
There were some witty lines with reference to lesbian activities, which the predominately all-female audience enjoyed.
The set was sparse but adequate for the short play. The whole show in the intimate atmosphere of Komedia led to a sexually-charged atmosphere which could not have been created in a larger theatre. This was a typical play which was run under the umbrella of the Brighton Festival and is due to take the trip up to Edinburgh later in the year.
It is good to see festivals such as Brighton's putting on such plays to cater for audiences of different tastes.
