David and Juliet Brecknell led home the five boats which took part in the second race of Chichester Yacht Club's Evening Series Tankard.
The Brecknells were first across the line in their RS400 but on handicap corrected time they were dispatched to the end of the fleet and the honours for the race went to Nick and Biddy Colbourne in their GP14, with Ian Payne second in his Laser.
Despite a complete lack of wind, the two scheduled races were completed at Chichester last Sunday.
There were three RS400s afloat and although they had to make wide deviations from they took two first places on the water, with the Colbournes winning the first race and John and Pauline Cox taking the second.
Hove's Helen Armour, aboard the yacht Logica, is still hanging on to second place in leg six of the BT Challenge - a race around the world the wrong way.
Armour is not taking anything for granted, particularly after leg five when they sailed superbly for many days in second place only to finish down the list.
The final leg is a three day sprint from La Rochelle to Southampton. The organisers were hoping for a June 23 finish but light airs have slowed progress considerably and the end of June seems a more likely finish date.
Stuart Elford, from Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club, who has recently finished his military training at Sandhurst, travelled to Plymouth last weekend to take part in the Services RS Championships.
