A lemon drink fanatic has sparked a bitter dispute with a rival after appearing in The Argus and on this web site.
Lorri Newman, a DJ at the Paradox nightspot in Brighton, was furious after spotting Paul Cavendish in the paper speaking of his love for Fanta lemon.
Lorri claims he is the original Fanta man and said his friends started calling him DJ Ice Lemon after he bleached his hair yellow.
But Paul, also a DJ, appeared in the paper and said he spent up to £30 a week on Fanta lemon drink and painted his home in lemon yellow colours.
Lorri said: "This Paul bloke is a bit of a chancer. He is obviously copying my style after hearing of me."
Paul, 26, has now issued a challenge to Lorri to take part in a head-to-head dance DJ competition to prove he is the number one jock in Brighton and Hove.
Paul, of Hove, said: "Fatboy Slim did a head-to-head with a DJ last year. I'll take on this bloke in any club he chooses. I want to show the people of Brighton I'm the number one Lemon DJ round here."
Fanta are offering to sponsor the event and are offering a lifetime supply of Fanta Icy Lemon to the winner.
Last week we reported how Paul upset his girlfriend after painting his home in the colours of his favourite drink.
He also sprayed his hair green and looks after lemon trees in his garden in honour of his favourite fruit.
He says he plays records with the words lemon included in the title and drinks up to 30 bottles of Fanta lemon a week.
