More than 70 cans and bottles of drink were seized in a police crackdown on under-age drinking in a Brighton park.
Officers recovered the beer and alcopops on Friday evening as they swooped on more than 60 teenage drinkers in Preston Park, Brighton.
No action was taken against the youths, but they were warned to expect less lenience if they are caught drinking in the park again.
PC Chris Kenny of Brighton police said: "It is seizure at the moment but anybody else coming down is going to be dealt with very, very strongly, with arrest if necessary."
Police have been cracking down on under-age drinkers in Preston Park for the last three weeks.
Last weekend alcohol was seized from another 30 youths in the park, which has become a popular haunt for underage drinkers.
Councillor Geoffrey Theobald, Tory leader on Brighton and Hove City Council, said: "I hope the police are talking to these children, and to their parents, and explaining the problems they could get into through under-age drinking, and the effect it can have on people living in the area. I feel this would be the most useful course of action."
