Chart-Toppers Steps have confirmed they will headline Southern FM's Party In The Park this month.
The group, which scored number one hits with Tragedy and Stomp, will play to an expected crowd of more than 60,000 people in Preston Park, Brighton.
It will be the second time the band have been the main act at the free open air concert, which takes place on Sunday, June 24.
Back in 1999 Steps impressed fans with dynamic dance routines, dazzling outfits and storming pop tunes.
Since then the band has toured with Britney Spears, won a Brit Award for Best Selling Live Act and achieved top ten hits with Deeper Shade Of Blue, It's The Way You Make Me Feel and Buzz.
Now the group is back in the charts with the double A-side Here And Now and You'll Be Sorry, which looks likely to be yet another top ten smash.
Breakfast show presenters Danny Pike and Nicky Keig Shevlin announced the first Party In The Park acts live on Southern FM's breakfast show this morning.
Other confirmed groups include boy band a1, soulful R N B group Damage, indie pop trio Feeder and allSTARS, from the series STARstreet on SMTV.
Last year Billie, Craig David and Five were the main musical attractions.
Southern FM programme controller Tony Aldridge said: "This is the fifth Party In The Park and it looks set to be bigger and better than ever before.
"Not only have we got famous names from the pop industry but we also have up-and-coming groups who are destined to be the stars of tomorrow. We have an amazing line-up of more than 20 pop acts. It's going to be the best free party in Sussex."
More acts will be announced on the Southern FM Breakfast show next Monday.
