I swim between the piers and once "round-the-pier". Since the excellent development of Brighton's lower promenade between the piers, the bars have encouraged a show-off element. It is dangerous and must be policed. In addition, where are the officers who are to implement the £20 fine for cycling on the pavement? Neither of these things should be happening. Well done, Mr Law (Opinion, June 22).
