How pleasant to see Gordon Dean's Thirties Hollywood supporting actors back.
In our house, we thought they had finished.
As a film fan of those days, I found his description of Eve Arden (Letters, August 28) so accurate.
I am sure Mr Dean remembers her teamed with her male equivalent, Walter Abel, a combination made in heaven if ever one was.
I have had many smiles at the series. Please continue, Gordon. Just think, we may have sat next to each other all those years ago.
