He may drive a Mini as Mr Bean but away from the TV screen rubber-faced comic Rowan Atkinson prefers life in the fast lane.
Now he is to share one of his collection of classic cars with his hero, the legendary racing driver Sir Stirling Moss.
The pair are taking part in a race at the annual revival meeting at the Goodwood motor racing circuit, near Chichester.
Rowan is a regular competitor at the event, which is a tribute to the cars and motorbikes that made the track famous during the Fifties and Sixties.
There is a ban on cars built after 1965 when the track was closed for racing because cars became too fast to handle its bends.
Lord March, who owns the circuit, also encourages spectators and drivers to dress in period costume for the vent, which runs from September 14 to 16.
Former racing ace Johnny Herbert and former world champion motorbike ace Barry Sheene will also take part.
