A Sussex man has been charged in a police investigation into a nationwide series of bomb hoaxes.
Jobless Neil Christian Bartlett, 28, of Bewley Road, Angmering, near Littlehampton, is accused on five counts of communicating false information.
The charges, under Section 51 of the Criminal Law Act 1977, relate to alleged offences between July 16 and August 21 this year.
Mr Bartlett appeared before Worthing magistrates yesterday and was remanded in custody until next Thursday.
