I received a parking ticket last week for parking in residents' zone B on Montpelier Road, Brighton, where I live.
I have a fully paid-up residents' parking permit for zone B clearly displayed.
Needless to say, I have appealed and will not be paying any fine. I am, however, slightly concerned about the quality of traffic wardens.
While I am in full agreement with employing those with disabilities, I would have thought good eyesight and a functioning brain would be a basic requirement for a traffic warden.
Obviously not in our glorious new city.
