Picture the scene - Church Road, Monday, approximately 8.15pm, with cars parked legally for as far as you can see.
Having ventured into the fish and chip shop opposite Albany Villas, I was absolutely dismayed to witness our local friendly NCP tow-truck pull up so the crew could obtain their evening fare.
Now, while this was going on, buses and cars were having to manoeuvre into the oncoming lane of traffic to get past.
Firstly, Mr Roger French, since you are so vocal in your disapproval of such inconsiderate parking, please let me have your thoughts and, secondly, having timed these people's stay for exactly nine minutes, given the danger caused to other road users am I sensing one rule for them and a heavy-handed rule for local residents firmly in place here?
I wonder. NCP numbers were noted, incidentally.

-* Roger French replies: Everyone should be showing respect for the law and courtesy to other road users.
