Of course there will be problems with any new parking regulation system in a city with the traffic problems of Brighton and Hove.
Most people, however, support a policy of more effective policing of parking to improve traffic flow and to stop anti-social parking.
However, any criticism should be dealt with through the authorities responsible for the system, not by picking on the employees, the individuals who are only employed to police it.
It is outrageous the British Association of Motorists assumes the right to publish personal details of wardens. The implicit threat to these individuals is obvious.
Members of this organisation should seriously consider whether they want to remain members of an outfit that threatens the security of individuals, their homes and families in such a way.
The first time some idiot takes their anger out on a warden at his or her home, John Gallagher and the organisation he represents will bear the responsibility.
