John Maggs admitted his Horsham were half asleep last night, despite stretching their unbeaten run to eight games.
Marcel Dennis's classy fourth minute conversion of Gavin McGowan's through ball sent them on the way to a 2-0 home win over Wembley in Ryman League division two.
Dennis also provided the knock down from Steve Flain's cross for substitute Ryan Andrews to blast the 73rd minute clincher.
Hornets hit the woodwork three times but Wembley also created plenty of chances and boss Maggs admitted: "We were in a doze.
"We relaxed after the early goal but we are tight at the back and that's five cleansheets in a row now."
Midfielder McGowan is expected to stay with Horsham, despite renewed interest from Barnet.
