More than 20 bus services will disappear or change because of reduced council funding.
Local Rider bus services connect villages and towns across East Sussex.
People were already experiencing reduced services after East Sussex County Council withdrew money from evening and Sunday services in May.
Now the council has drawn up a list of cuts to daytime services aimed at eliminating a £465,000 overspend.
Services which will be withdrawn are the 5/5A Polegate to Pevensey, 95 Little Common to Turkey Road, 213 Jevington to Eastbourne, 227 Rotherfield to Crowborough Beacon School, 232 Crowborough to Groombridge, 258 Heathfield service and 290 Groombridge Old Station to Tunbridge Wells.
Other services under review or to change are the 19 Eastbourne to Battle, 113 Telscombe Cliffs to Seaford Annecy School, 201 Cade Street to Hailsham, 226 Crowborough to Mayfield, 245 Uckfield town service, 246 Uckfield service, 248/249 Uckfield to Crowborough, 252 Tunbridge Wells to Heathfield, 254 Tunbridge Wells to Hawkhurst, 256 Tunbridge Wells to Wadhurst, 257 Heathfield town service, 261 Uckfield to East Grinstead, 300 Hastings to Northiam, 340 Hastings to Tenterden, 400 Hastings to West- field, 318 Hawkhurst to Heathfield and 325 Rye town service.
Polegate town councillor Christine Berry criticised the disappearance of the 5/5A route. She said: "We used to have a community bus Polegate Town Council financed. There are people in Polegate who are totally cut off."
Councillor Anthony Reid, lead county council Cabinet member for transport and environment, said: "Where there are services that require subsidies out of proportion to the use being made of them, then we really have no alternative."
