Bognor march on at the top of division one with a 4-3 win at Windsor but they were frustrated for long periods by the ten-man hosts.

Rocks found themselves a goal down as early as the third minute when a Kevin Murphy back header fell short of keeper Craig Stoner and Steve Jones chipped the advancing keeper.

The home side were reduced to ten men in the seventh minute when Nicky Wyatt was brought down in the box by Alan Jordan with just keeper Trevor Bunting to beat. Jamie Howell equalised with the spot kick.

Bognor took the lead for the first time in the 14th minute when a Wyatt cross was curled into the far corner by David Wright.

Mark Fiore levelled with a superb 17th-minute free kick but Rocks were back in front on 63 minutes when Richard Hudson cut inside the box before crossing to the far post, where Matt Russell headed home.

Hudson's cross was rifled home from close range by Michael Birmingham before Matthew Wojtowicz headed in to set up a tense finish.

Worthing paid the penalty for failing to convert first-half chances as Wealdstone grabbed a 2-0 win at Woodside Road.

Gavin Jones fired over for Rebels when well placed just before the break and Andy Alexander and Ben Carrington also failed to hit the target. The fit-again Gavin Geddes also had a shot cleared off the line as the first half ended in hectic fashion.

Wealdstone's Bryan Hammett was denied by the woodwork before Danny Tilbury put the visitors ahead by touching in a cross from Robin Tucker on 75 minutes.

Rebels' fate was sealed eight minutes later when Dennis Greene struck with a back header following a corner from Richard McDonagh.

Lewes maintained their unbeaten run in division two with a 5-2 win away to Romford.

The Essex side opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Kevin Clark ghosted in to slide the ball past Ross Standen. Two minutes later Lewes were on level terms after a long kick from Standen was neatly chipped over the goalkeeper by Dominic Shepherd.

An excellent goal after 29 minutes saw Lewes take the lead when a precise cross by Sam Francis was headed in at the near post by Shepherd.

Tim Langer fired in a 35 yard free-kick but debutant Graham Mackay struck twice in a minute to settle the contest.

Peter Brackley added a late fifth with a 20 yard drive into the top corner.
