Whether you think we should have an elected mayor or not, please use your vote. Nothing would be worse than to follow either route without a clear majority of all those entitled to vote. Many ideas are turned into practice by small groups or even individuals just because people cannot be bothered to vote, usually followed by a great outcry that the city is being run by self-serving individuals or groups.
If you want to see a fair election with a fair result, the decision must be that of the true majority. So come on, Brighton and Hove, let's hear your true voice for once.
