Politicians and journalists will fight it out on the football field in a bid to raise money for The Argus Appeal.
The game will take place as the traditional curtain-raiser for the Labour Party conference, which begins on Sunday.
The conference is due to go ahead at the Brighton Centre but has been cut from four days to three because Parliament has been recalled on Thursday to debate the US terror attacks.
MPs have refused to bow to the terrorist threat and are going ahead with the charity football match at Withdean Stadium in Brighton on Sunday at 11am.
The Parliamentary Football Club will face a team from the Press lobby at Westminster during the fixture, which is sponsored by mobile phone company One2One.
Hove MP and lifelong Albion supporter Ivor Caplin will take to the field to face a Press team which will include James Slack, political reporter with The Argus.
Sports Minister Richard Caborn will present the winning side with the One2One Charity Challenge trophy after the game.
Money raised from the game will go to The Argus Appeal and the Royal Alexander Hospital for Sick Children in Dyke Road, Brighton.
Admission is free and gates will open at 10.30am. A collection will be made during the game.
