I would like to put in a good word for the Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company and its crews. I don't use its services very often but when I do I am well pleased. A few days ago, I "suffered" a ten-minute wait in pouring rain for a bus to Brighton station, missing my intended train.

However, upon boarding the bus I was, as ever, greeted by a smart, uniformed, attentive driver and found myself a seat in a vehicle that appeared as if it has just come from the factory. Brighton and Hove should be congratulated on its smart service, despite the fact there is sometimes a dearth of transport when we want it.
