Millions of people all over the world must be asking the question posed by Sandy Hooke (Letters, September 22): "What, indeed, does the future hold for all of us on this small planet?"
Many, in the US and other places, are seeking the answer to this question as they flock to places of worship. It was a question I used to ask when I was a young churchgoer with an intellectual interest in religion.
I began to discover the answer when I moved from being just religious to being a "born again" Christian. I discovered from personal experience God was alive and cared for little me, a speck in the universe.
George W Bush, or anyone else, does not have our future on the palm of his hands. It is in the hands of Jesus Christ, whom I believe to be the Living God.
