Former world boxing champion Chris Eubank was fined £110 today for failing to wear a crash helmet while riding his motorbike.
Eubank, 35, of The Upper Drive, Hove, was stopped by police at 9pm on July 6 this year while riding his Harley Davidson Fat Boy machine in Kings Avenue, Brighton.
He was wearing a leather flying cap at the time and told officers he would wait with the bike while a friend fetched him a helmet.
Brighton Magistrates Court, where he was convicted in August of the offence, today fined him and ordered him to pay £35 costs.
Eubank, who was given a conditional discharge in March for riding his motorised scooter without a helmet, was not in court today to be sentenced.
His solicitor Shah Amin said he was abroad.
