Ten-man Bognor held firm to remain on top of division one as they beat Tooting and Mitcham 3-1 last night.
The Rocks found themselves a goal behind in the second minute when a left wing cross was placed into the far corner via the post by Nigel Webb.
Bognor levelled in the seventh minute when a short corner was played to Richard Hudson who whipped in a low cross that was headed home under pressure from Matt Russell by Luke Ferguson.
This inspired the Rocks and they were only denied extending their lead by visiting keeper Tony Webb.
The Rocks took the lead in the 45th minute when yet another short corner undid the visiting defence. This time Hudson's cross was flicked on at the near post and volleyed home by Russell.
Bognor were reduced to ten men in the 73rd minute when it appeared that Jay Pickering caught Nigel Webb with his elbow as they tussled for a ball in the air.
Simon Funnell wrapped up the points for Bognor in the 76th minute when his quickly taken free kick was curled into the far corner.
Worthing took their first ever point at Yeading as the division one clash at The Warren ended in a lively 1-1 draw.
In-form Ben Carrington gave Rebels a 34th minute lead but the hosts levelled midway through the second half through impressive substitute Matt Miller.
Carrington, who forced keeper Matt Hodson to push over his goalbound shot early on, broke the deadlock from ten yards after a long range drive by Marc Rice cannoned back off the bar.
Worthing were forced to battle for the last 30 minutes with ten men after Danny Smith was sent off for handling on the goal line.
Keeper James Wastell dived to his right to save the resulting penalty from Dwaine Lee, but could do nothing to prevent Yeading's equaliser on 65 minutes when Miller struck with a left foot shot from 20 yards across the face of the goal.
Worthing wasted a glorious opportunity to take all three points shortly after as Paul Kennett, set up by Carrington, missed from two yards.
