Matt Russell has already hit double figures for Ryman division one high flyers Bognor.
The 22-year-old hot-shot grabbed goals No. 9 and 10 as the Rocks kept themselves top of the table with a 3-1 victory over Tooting and Mitcham on Tuesday.
And he goes into next Tuesday's fixture at Staines determined to keep on a goalscoring roll.
He said: "The goals are certainly coming my way and I am delighted. It's a good run for me and I intend to keep it going at Staines. We want to keep our rivals at distance."
Russell, who hit 32 goals in his first season with the Rocks last term, revealed the secret of his side's success.
He said: "We didn't do that much last season but we now have a cutting edge. Richard Hudson has come in from Lewes and done extremely well. He beats players as if they aren't there and gives me quite a supply from the wing.
"There's also Simon Funnell arriving from Worthing. He's coming back after an illness but before that was a good partner for me with him the target man and myself making runs off him trying to lose my markers.
"But things have been going well with Nicky Wyatt as well."
The 22-year-old came to Nyewood Lane at the beginning of last season from Horsham YMCA after scoring 46 goals for the County League club the previous campaign.
He said: "It was a bit of a shock when I first arrived because I was put on the left side of midfield and I'd never played there before but then I got switched and the goals started to go in . So now I'm carrying on where I left off last season."
Russell still harbours ambitions of a professional career, having played for Albion on their tour of Ireland last year. The striker said: "I was with them a month and offered a deal but was halfway through a degree course and didn't want to take the gamble.
"But I'll have finished my PE studies next year and hopefully I'll get another chance at the professional game."
