Zoe Ball has been signed up to present a new-look Top Of The Pops, the BBC's flagship popular music show.
Zoe, who lives in Hove with husband Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook and their son, Woody, will be hosting the show with current host Jamie Theakston, who was brought up in Sussex, and Dermot O'Leary.
A special hour-long episode to launch the revamped programme will be broadcast on October 19, with the studio moving from its present Hertfordshire home to London to attract a "trendier audience".
Zoe, 30, had put her TV career temporarily on hold after Woody was born.
She has hosted The Priory and Live And Kicking as well as being a DJ.
But Chris Cowie, TOTP's producer, said: "She loves the show so it was easy to get her to come out of retirement."
