I can't see why Steve Bassam wants an elected mayor in the city.

Perhaps he wants to boss people around.

Last time he was leader of the council, he closed most of the public toilets.

Now a person like me, awaiting an operation, has to dive up an alleyway to have a pee.

This city is one big slum. I don't go out more than I can help.
