Over the past few years, I have chosen to read The Argus instead of a national daily mainly because it gives a balanced view of local, national and international news and events.
Unfortunately, this seems to have changed.
Recent half-page columns from John Parry are littered with right-wing rhetoric and propaganda.
If I wished to read this sort of biased journalism, I would buy the Daily Mail.
If this is to continue, would The Argus offer the same facilities to a journalist from the left, thereby giving readers the balanced view we have come to expect?
