The news that Peter Taylor has been appointed as manager of Brighton and Hove Albion will bring a nostalgic glow to older fans of the football club.
For it was another Peter Taylor, former sidekick of Brian Clough and a great manager in his own right, who, more than 20 years ago, brought Albion towards the best time in the club's history.
The new Peter Taylor is the fans' favourite and exactly the kind of manager a forward-looking club should be seeking.
Although Taylor had a bad run with Leicester City earlier this season, he has generally had a good track record.
He steered Gillingham to promotion. He has been England caretaker manager and the under-21 manager.
Taylor is young, able and ambitious. He will now be at the helm of a club which is near the top of the Second Division.
Albion are now in contention for promotion to the First Division and there is no reason why, within a few years, they should not be back in the Premiership.
They have the catchment area to produce the fans. They have a manager who is already used to life at the top. Now all they need is a ground.
The old Peter Taylor had the secure background of the much-loved Goldstone Ground. The new Peter Taylor needs a community stadium. Brighton and Hove must make sure he gets it.
