Thanks to The Argus for the wonderful support in highlighting the need to keep breast care in Brighton.
I have had breast cancer and am deeply indebted to the Nigel Porter Unit, Dr Hodson and all the caring nurses. Without them all, I wouldn't be here today.
So I'm trying to do my bit in helping the cause. It makes sense to keep the unit in Brighton, especially for young mothers with small children.
I hope the powers-that-be will take note of all these people because when you have cancer you need all the help you can get.
"They" say they want to improve the service for patients. Well, the best care they can give is to take notice of all the people who have signed these petitions.
I do hope The Argus will be successful in stopping this transfer to Haywards Heath.
