It seems the Government is still determined to bring in a law preventing the public from debating or opposing planning decisions.
It is cynical to send people to fight wars for freedom while it is being stealthily eroded at home.
Perhaps this is some of the bad news it hoped to bury.
I hope the politically-correct brigade will not interfere with the sale of flags and insignia (The Argus, October 16).
They are uncomfortable with flags or national songs.
People in other countries can feel proud but we are expected to grovel and cringe.
Have these people ever studied the words of the Marseillaise? It would scare the wits out of them - if they had any.
