Our two daughters, aged eight and five years, attend Telscombe Cliffs County Primary School.
We wholeheartedly support Andrew Kearsey's decision not to employ transsexual supply teacher Natasha Thoday.
Children should not be used as pawns in her campaign for promoting transsexuals.
They grow up far too quickly already and are exposed to too much sexual material in everything from pop songs to advertising.
Parents have a tough job trying to protect our children from this explicit material and it is very comforting to know Mr Kearsey is also trying to protect our children.
He is an enthusiastic, friendly, kind, polite and approachable head teacher whom our school is very lucky to have.
-Two very grateful parents
