A Japanese artist is bringing new meaning to the words body beautiful by painting on a naked model.
Yukki Yaura will demonstrate her skills with the human form at the University of Brighton Gallery in Grand Parade, Brighton.
Members of the public are invited to watch Miss Yaura at work during the three hours it will take to paint the body.
Miss Yaura, who is a part-time tutor at the Royal College of Art in London, specialises in Japanese calligraphy.
Her work has featured in Steven Spielberg's film Empire Of The Sun and Peter Greenaway's Pillow Book.
The performance will take place on Saturday (Oct 27) from 2pm until 5pm. It is part of a season of Japanese events at the gallery which runs until February.
