Up to 3,000 people are expected to attend the biggest ever media careers information day held on the South Coast.
The high-profile event will give youngsters unprecedented access to those involved in newspapers, TV, film, video, radio and the web.
Hundreds of tickets have already been snapped up.
The Southern Daily Echo, a sister paper of The Argus, The Guardian, BBC South, Meridian, BBC Radio Solent and South City FM are among a number of leading news providers, who will be on hand to give advice.
Some of the leading personalities will include Meridian TV news presenter Fred Dinenage and his BBC South counterpart Sally Taylor.
Along with information stands there will be a chance for plenty of hands-on action.
Visitors can try commentating to TV sports action, or presenting the weather or editing a web page.
There is even a TV make-up artist and radio DJs James Lloyd (The Fire) and Rik Scott (Power FM) will reveal all about spinning tunes.
Education providers will also be there.
Organiser Roger Hammett, from the BBC, said: "This is a rare opportunity to meet the shakers and movers and ask them all sorts of questions. It promises to be a great day."
The Southern Media Careers Information Day takes place at Southhampton Guildhall on November 28 from 10.30am to 5.15pm.
