Fifteen-year-old Q-ball snooker player Jimmy Robertson made Eastbourne League history last week.
Playing for Q-Ball B away to RNOC A in a division one tie, Robbertson stepoed up as first player on against RNOC's Ian Whitehorn and made a total clearance of 132 to record the highest ever break in the Eastbourne League's 75-year history.
It was also Robertson's highest competitive break and it best the previous best of 127 by Martin Holmes.
The Bexhill High School pupil, who is sponsored by the Q-Ball Classic Racing Bookmakers, inspired his team to go on and dominate the match with a 5-0 victory, with winning frames coming from John Avery, James Taylor, Gary Jones and Colin Vicary to keep Q-Ball B top of division one.
League chairman Bill Huntsaid "That was one of the finest breaks I have ever seen."
With two centuries in a Pro-Am competition the previous week, this pushed Jimmy's competitive centuries up to 42.
