St Leonards maintained their unbeaten away record in the eastern division with a fine 3-1 win at Stamford.
Saints weathered early pressure and took the lead after 25 minutes through Des Boateng's left-foot shot.
Rob Bailey equalised from ten yards three minutes later, but three minutes before the break Saints restored their lead when Danny Fletcher delivered the perfect cross for leading scorer Dominic Barclay to power home a header.
Five minutes into the second period Stamford failed to deal with Fletcher's corner and Patrick Ankrah nudged the ball home from close range.
Eastbourne Borough twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at Spalding United, the first points the Lincolnshire outfit have conceded since August at home.
Lee Stevenson put Spalding ahead on eight minutes following indecision in the home defence and he was on target again on 34 minutes, brushing aside weak Eastbourne challenges before firing past Dean Lightwood.
His second goal came only two minutes after David Adams had put his side on level terms when he forced the ball over the line after a corner.
Borough dominated much of the second half and drew level when Clinton More hit a superb equaliser in the 79th minute.
Hastings Town's indifferent run continued when they crashed to a 3-1 defeat at home to in- form Grantham Town.
The loss means Hastings have picked up just one point out of a possible nine.
Grantham took the lead on 34 minutes when Hastings captain Tony Burt diverted an inswinging free kick into his own net.
Burt's afternoon got even worse ten minutes into the second half when he deflected a long range shot from Stuart Wilson and the ball looped over stranded goalkeeper Dave King for 2-0.
Hastings pulled one back midway through the half following determined work by Paul Jones, but any thoughts of a comeback were dispelled by Lee Marshall's well-placed 20-yard drive.
Late on home midfielder Duncan McArthur was sent off for the second of two yellow cards.
Both sides also had a goal ruled out for offside, but it was Grantham who played the more controlled football and deserved their win.
