In the late summer, I had a serious accident and needed about four months off work.
I am just beginning to look ahead to starting work again and I am told there are now no buses from Worthing after about 7.30pm because West Sussex County Council has withdrawn its financial support.
I finish work about at 10pm and rely on the 10.30pm late bus.
I shall have to take a train back instead - at an extra cost of more than £300 a year - and I shall have to walk the two-and-a-half miles from the station late at night in all weathers.
I am not a high earner and I am no longer as fit as I was before the accident.
I believe I am right in saying it is normally the less well-off who bear the brunt of economic cuts and the financial streamlining of private companies.
