Brighton Bears have clinched a deal with Meridian TV for up to six of their games to be broadcast on terrestrial television.
Bears' clash with Milton Keynes on November 17 will dominate a 90-minute highlights programme, also featuring interviews, to be screened the following day.
The derby with Thames Valley on December 16 will then be shown live, with tip-off likely to be moved to early afternoon.
Meridian also plan to offer live coverage of four games after Christmas, possibly including away fixtures.
Bears director Romek Kriwald said: "It's really big news. This sort of coverage is unprecedented in the BBL Championship."
BBL matches are currently covered by ITV Sport and Kriwald added: "Our deal with Meridian is great for the league and a good thing to come from the switch away from Sky Sports.
"There was always hope basketball would graduate to terrestrial television but the fact it has come this quickly is a tremendous achievement."
Bears have yet to learn whether they will receive a fee for staging televised matches but Kriwald said: "There will be no expense on our part."
