I totally disagree with the views of Eleanor van Linden regarding the rough sleeper in the foyer of the Lloyds TSB bank in North Street, Brighton (Letters, October 26).
I use this branch occasionally in the evening and have felt intimidated by young men sitting on the floor while I am withdrawing money.
They ask for "change". I refuse - they could be high on drugs, so I am very glad to know a bank employee forced this so-called rough sleeper to leave.
No doubt this bank worker had better things to do on a Saturday evening so his manner probably wasn't very sympathetic.
But if Ms van Linden had been attacked, the story would have been very different.
