I live at Park Lodge in Dyke Road, Hove, where Orange has permission to build a base station on top of our building.
The residents are campaigning to have this stopped and The Argus has published several articles and letters about our campaign.
I wonder if readers would be prepared to buy a property in close proximity to a mobile phone mast because one of the issues around such masts is their effect on property prices.
Although the evidence about the possible health effects of mobile phone installations seems to be inconclusive, there must be a lot of people who do not want to take a chance with them, especially if they have young children (witness previous campaigns to have masts removed from near to schools).
The reaction of readers would certainly be interesting.
