Harry Potter fans are so spellbound they have already booked £12,000 worth of tickets for shows this weekend.
The UGC cinema at Brighton Marina is previewing the film, Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone, at 13 screenings tomorrow and Sunday and at least half the tickets have gone.
Three thousand tickets have been sold and the cinema hopes to take up to £30,000 during the two days.
The Odeon cinema in Brighton will have six screenings per day this weekend.
The film adaptation of the children's novel is expected to be one of the biggest movies of all time.
The UGC will be showing the film on three screens, between 8am and 9pm.
The Odeon will show it on two screens at three different times.
