MONDAY: Bristol City boss Danny Wilson predicts a Premiership future for Bobby Zamora.
This after the Albion star's 12th goal of the season divides the sides at Ashton Gate.
Former Seagull Wilson says: "Sometimes they want somebody tried and tested, but I honestly think the boy would go well in the Premiership."
TUESDAY: Boss Peter Taylor admits Albion would be "crazy" to let Zamora go.
"The most important thing is that when I saw the chairman Dick Knight he told me Bobby has been signed up on a long contract and the club hasn't got to sell him.
"He's got a very good chance of going very high, although that doesn't mean he would go into the Premiership tomorrow and be an instant success."
Albion stay in second place as Stoke are held to a 2-2 draw at Blackpool.
WEDNESDAY: Nathan Jones urges Albion to make the most of consecutive home matches to cement their automatic promotion challenge.
"Without putting too much pressure on ourselves it's a great opportunity with two home games coming up and the diversion of the FA Cup," declares the Welshman.
"We need to capitalise. A bit of a gap is opening up between the top three and the rest and we need to keep in the group."
The reserves throw away the chance of their first Combination win of the season as Cheltenham snatch a late equaliser to draw 2-2 at Woodside Road.
THURSDAY: Fans are told not to berate Port Vale boss Brian Horton on his return to Brighton.
Gary Hart, signed by Horton, says: "There's no need for him to get any stick. He basically started the ball rolling.
"I know we didn't win every week, but he put a nice little team together without any money."
FRIDAY: Peter Taylor warns against under-estimating Port Vale in the weekend clash at Withdean. Taylor believes Horton's return will inspire the Potteries side. He says: "When you go back to one of your old clubs, whether as a manager or a player, you are desperate to do well so this will be a little bit extra special for Brian."
Zamora hopes for the all clear on a hamstring tendon he strained in the win at Bristol City.
Albion's players wait on results from the PFA strike ballot. Union members are expected to give the go ahead for industrial action.
Seagulls fans are urged to snap up tickets early for this month's trip to Swindon or face queues of up to an hour to get into the County Ground.
