Fast Helicopters is compiling an extensive database of organisations in the south that have land available to be used by corporate helicopter charters.
The Shoreham-based aviation firm aims to have a choice of landing sites closer to a particular destination as well as regular sites, such as hotels and golf courses.
Chief flying instructor Ian MacGregor said the corporate helipads could be used not only by the land owner or resident company but businesses in the vicinity that do not have the room.
He said: "We have had inquiries from companies that want to look into shared ownership of executive helicopters. This is a way for many who have landing sites to be able to reduce the costs of running their own machine."
