A teddy bear from Sussex has captured the hearts of people on the other side of the world.
The I Love West Sussex Bear, with its sandy fur and fuzzy face, has gained a reputation since being launched on an internet site and West Sussex County Council received an order for three of the £5 bears from a shopper in Indonesia.
Council spokesman Simon Eden said: "We were mystified but delighted when the person emailed us and ordered the bears.
"At first we thought they may have moved to Indonesia from West Sussex but they had a foreign-sounding name."
He said the bear, dressed in a white T-shirt, had proved a huge hit with both the public and council staff.
Mr Eden added: "The bear is part of a campaign to give a higher profile to West Sussex. It provides the perfect way to show how much the county has to offer.
"Since it was launched we have received interest from people around the world."
