Almost 500 people have been given refunds on their Parking charges following a Brighton and Hove Council error.
The council overcharged people when their illegally-parked cars were removed and taken to pounds, as we revealed last month.
Parking manager Dick Davey-Thomas said 480 people had already been reimbursed £20 and another 25 would soon get the money.
The council originally estimated 350 to 400 drivers were affected.
An administrative error meant motorists were each charged £125 instead of £105 when their vehicles were towed away.
Drivers who had cars stored in the pound were also charged £15 for each 24-hour period when the correct fee was £12.
The higher charges apply to vehicles removed by councils in London and were used in error in Brighton and Hove.
